Francis Freeman is a lifelong resident of New York’s Southern Tier. He was born with an entrepreneurial spirit and spent his early career looking for the right opportunity to lead and innovate. That opportunity presented itself in his late twenties when he spearheaded operations to open a new market for a staffing agency that had been successful for more than twenty years. Francis soon realized that his true passion was working with employees and employers; more importantly bringing them together successfully. Realizing the value that he could bring to the staffing industry, Francis ventured out on his own and in July of 2005 formed Employment Solutions. His friend Mike Lee introduced him to Dan Mori. The three immediately realized that their abilities would perfectly complement each other’s and that Dan and Mike could be instrumental to the success of Employment Solutions.  Mike joined the company to oversee back office and IT and Dan to handle business development and marketing, while Francis focused on operations. He believes that with hard work and the team he has built at Employment Solutions the sky is the limit.  Employment Solutions has been a rising star in the staffing industry since it began in 2005 and Francis aims to make it the very brightest star. In his down time, Francis enjoys spending time with his family, coaching soccer and being involved with the Masons.

Michael is responsible for the financial stability, efficiency and IT of Employment Solutions. Additionally, he oversees our back office, including payroll and loss prevention. Michael graduated with honors from Rochester Institute of Technology, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, with a minor in Economics. He partnered with co-owners Francis Freeman and Dan Mori in 2006 and has maintained his current position with Employment Solutions since.  Michael brings over 14 years of IT experience from other firms, including publicly traded companies. His diverse knowledge of technology and business brings high efficiency and cost savings to Employment Solutions. Michael has completed Sandler Management Training, as well as several financial and payroll seminars.  Utilizing this knowledge, he has successfully led a project to bring payroll operations in-house, allowing Employment Solutions to significantly grow over the past several years while keeping labor costs down. He has also accomplished a perfect payroll audit completed by the Department of Labor.

In 2006 Dan quit his job in corporate America, and joined forces with Francis Freeman and Mike Lee in Employment Solutions of New York, Inc. The three soon recognized that one of the largest challenges facing businesses in the Southern Tier was a shortage of quality employees. It seemed that every hiring manager they spoke to struggled to find the top talent they desperately needed. With no experience in the industry, the Employment Solutions team set out to learn what it would take to build a successful staffing company. They asked 25 local employers one simple question: “What do you expect from your staffing agency?” The answer? Companies wanted flexibility and the ability to be part of the recruiting process. Employment Solutions developed a dynamic recruiting process that would give clients the ability to custom tailor each step to most closely match they way they hire. This process can be applied successfully to temporary, temp-to-perm, and direct hire placements. Employment Solutions has experienced tremendous success – measured in the number of great employees they have placed with clients. They have grown from one little office in Elmira, NY to seven offices throughout the northeast, and currently provide staffing and recruiting services in 23 states.
