Employment Solutions is hiring a Furniture Sander for a family-owned company specializing in furniture refurbishing and sales. This is a great opportunity to join a team that takes pride in restoring and preparing quality office furniture for customers throughout the region.

Pay: $18.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Location: Manchester, CT
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Responsibilities

• Sand and prepare furniture surfaces using handheld orbital sanders and other finishing tools.
• Remove imperfections and ensure furniture is properly prepared for the next stage of refurbishment.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work closely with team members to meet production goals and customer deadlines.
• Assist with moving and handling furniture and materials as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous sanding, manufacturing, woodworking, refinishing, or production experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to lift and move furniture and materials as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
