Warehouse Order Filler - Kansas City, MO

We are seeking a motivated Order Filler / Warehouse Associate to join our team in Kansas City, MO. This is a full-time, day shift position working Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with potential for earlier start times on Mondays during peak season and occasional overtime during summer months.

This role focuses on order picking, packing, and inventory handling in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working on their feet throughout the day.

Pay: $18-$19 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Order Fulfillment & Packing:

• Pick and pack orders accurately using part numbers, packing slips, and a scan gun
• Pack items at designated packing stations (desk, computer, and scanning equipment)
• Prepare shipments ranging from small parcel orders to larger palletized shipments
• Select appropriate packaging methods based on order size and shipping requirements

Shipping & Material Handling:

• Assist with palletizing and preparing shipments for outbound delivery
• Load and stack packages onto trucks and conveyors as needed
• Use manual equipment (such as pallet jacks) to move materials throughout the warehouse
• Support package auditing and ensure order accuracy across multiple carriers

Receiving & Inventory:

• Receive and unpack incoming shipments, verifying accuracy
• Stock and organize inventory in designated locations
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with material tracking

General Duties:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals

Work Environment & Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically active environment
• Warehouse can be hot during spring and summer months
• Steel toe boots required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior warehouse experience required (picking/packing preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable attendance and team-oriented mindset
• Basic computer skills preferred
