CDL Delivery Driver

Position: CDL B Delivery Driver
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM; overtime may extend the workday until 5:00 PM
Pay: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience
Location: Local job sites throughout Wilmington, NC

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused CDL B Delivery Driver to deliver building materials to local job sites throughout the Wilmington area. This physically demanding position combines commercial driving with hands-on loading and unloading responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report maintenance concerns, damage, and mechanical issues promptly.
• Safely deliver building materials to local customers and job sites.
• Load and unload materials using equipment and manual labor.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Regularly bend, stoop, twist, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Complete deliveries safely and according to schedule.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and required DOT documentation.
• Follow all company, DOT, and job-site safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Previous commercial delivery-driving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding work.
• Forklift experience or certification is preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
