Revit Designer / Drafter – Commercial Construction
Job Type: Full-Time, remote, ideally based in upstate New York
Salary: $50,000 per year
Job Summary
We are seeking a Revit Designer / Drafter to join our client’s growing team.
You’ll support commercial construction projects by producing accurate BIM models, construction drawings, and technical documentation using Autodesk Revit.
The projects range in size from 1,500 to over 500,000 square feet. They engineer, design, and provide consulting services for government buildings, hotels, prisons, psychiatric centers, higher education buildings, K-12 schools, health care facilities, museums, county buildings, DOT facilities, and commercial facilities.
This is a fulltime remote position with benefits.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit
- Produce detailed construction documents, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Prepare drawing sets for permitting, bidding, and construction
- Coordinate drawings with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project managers
- Incorporate revisions and maintain accurate project documentation
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and company drafting standards
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Meet project deadlines while managing multiple assignments
- 1–3+ years of experience as a Revit Designer, Revit Drafter, BIM Designer, or CAD Designer
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (required)
- Experience producing construction drawings for commercial building projects
- Understanding of commercial construction methods and building systems
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Associate degree, drafting certificate, or equivalent experience preferred
- AutoCAD experience
