Job Title: Drum Motor Assembly Tech
Location: Northchase Area – Wilmington, NC
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $18.00/hr + $1.00/hr Weekly Attendance Bonus

Overview:
We are hiring for a climate-controlled manufacturing facility in the Northchase area of Wilmington. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on mechanical or assembly experience looking for a steady schedule and long-term opportunity in a clean, organized environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and/or disassemble drum motor products
• Set up, operate, and adjust equipment to meet safety, quality, and production standards
• Perform minor preventative maintenance on production equipment
• Test assemblies and final products to ensure proper function and safety compliance
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with rework as needed
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
• Operate hand tools and production machinery throughout the shift
• Complete daily production logs (manual or scanner-based)
• Communicate equipment or material issues to supervisors
• Cross-train in RMA processes as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing, assembly, or related experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical instructions, and procedures
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals)
• Ability to read machine gauges, monitors, and electronic panels
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
