Shipper/Receiver

Employment Solutions is hiring a Shipper/Receiver to support warehouse and logistics operations. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping products while ensuring inventory accuracy, organization, and a safe work environment.

Location: Milford, CT
Pay: $19/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (OT as needed)
Schedule Flexibility: Start time may move earlier based on business needs
Employment Type: Temp-Hire

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, and inspect products for accuracy and damage
• Label, track, and properly store inventory
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments
• Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation
• Load and unload trucks while handling materials carefully
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Support the logistics team with daily operations and process improvements

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
• Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
