Stand-Up Reach Forklift Picker (Days)

Employment Solutions is seeking a Stand-Up Reach Forklift Picker to work in Dallas, Texas for a well-established food and beverage cold storage warehouse. Our client manufactures and distributes various consumer products throughout the world and has been in business for over 100 years.


Pay: $20/hr - weekly pay
1st Shift: 8a-430p plus OT

Stand Up Reach Forklift Operator – Job Duties

• Operate a Stand-Up Reach Forklift in a cold storage environment consistently 38 degrees
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method, including completing regular cycle counts.

• Use SAP warehouse management software to complete daily warehouse and logistics operations.

• Complete and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations.

• Maintain a flexible schedule, including availability for weekends, overtime, and varying shifts.

• Follow established work instructions, company policies, and product specifications to ensure accuracy, consistency, and prevent product damage.

• Communicate important information with incoming team members during shift changes to ensure inventory is available for order fulfillment.

• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe by following 5S standards.

• Inspect equipment daily and notify supervisors of mechanical problems or maintenance concerns to prevent unnecessary downtime.

• Identify and troubleshoot basic equipment issues when possible.

• Support routine equipment maintenance and assist with repairs when needed.

• Follow all workplace safety guidelines and ensure proper safety practices are maintained.

• Help identify opportunities to improve warehouse operations, reduce costs, increase inventory accuracy, and improve overall productivity and customer service.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• At least one year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Previous experience operating a stand-up reach forklift is highly preferred, ideally with at least 12 months of experience.
