CDL A Delivery Driver

Employment Solutions is hiring for our client in Old Lyme, CT!

Starting Pay: $27.00 per hour

Employment Solutions is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Driver for a full-time opportunity with our client in Old Lyme, CT. This position involves multi-stop delivery routes throughout New Jersey and surrounding areas.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload products.
• Maintain assigned delivery schedules and routes.
• Complete accurate delivery paperwork, manifests, and payment documentation.
• Provide professional customer service and communicate effectively with customers.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow all federal and state transportation and safety regulations.
• Maintain excellent attendance and reliability.
• Work independently and resolve routine delivery or route-related issues.
• Hazmat experience or training is a plus.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous commercial driving or delivery experience.
• Valid medical examiner's certificate.
• Satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to obtain required OSHA Hazmat and Security Awareness certifications.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
