Master Planner
Master Planner Salary: $95,000–$125,000/year
We are partnering with a successful aerospace company in Milford, CT to find a Master Planner to lead production planning, master scheduling, and production control in a manufacturing environment. This role oversees the Planning and Production Control team, optimizes capacity and inventory, and ensures production schedules meet customer demand and delivery commitments.

We are partnering with a successful aerospace company in Milford, CT to find a Master Planner to lead production planning, master scheduling, and production control in a manufacturing environment. This role oversees the Planning and Production Control team, optimizes capacity and inventory, and ensures production schedules meet customer demand and delivery commitments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand, capacity, inventory, and material availability.
- Lead and develop Production Planners and Production Control personnel.
- Manage production schedules, work order priorities, and schedule adherence.
- Identify capacity constraints, material shortages, and production delays; implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Operations, Purchasing, Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
- Optimize inventory, production lead times, throughput, and resource utilization.
- Monitor KPIs, including on-time delivery, schedule attainment, inventory turns, and capacity utilization.
- Improve planning processes and maintain accurate ERP/MRP data.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience in production planning, master scheduling, or production control.
- Experience leading or supervising planning or production control teams.
- Strong knowledge of MPS, MRP/ERP systems, capacity planning, and inventory management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Experience with Infor SyteLine ERP.
- Automotive or aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or S&OP/IBP processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
