Location: Painted Post, NY
Position: CDL Tractor-Trailer Driver
Pay: $27.00/HR
Schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Schedule Rotation: 2-2-3

We are currently hiring an experienced CDL Driver for a DIRECT HIRE opportunity in Painted Post.

Position Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver freight safely and efficiently
• Operate tractor-trailer equipment
• Hook and unhook trailers
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate trip reports and BOLs
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations
• Maintain clean and safe equipment
• Communicate delays, breakdowns, weather, traffic, and other issues to dispatch
• May operate a forklift to move inventory
• Occasional over-the-road runs may require staying out 1–2 nights

Requirements

• Valid CDL
• Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Acceptable driving record
• Must meet DOT medical requirements
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to pass E-Verify
