Box Truck Driver - Non CDL

Location: Old Lyme, CT
Pay: $25/hour to start

Employment Solutions is hiring an experienced Non-CDL Box Truck Driver for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Old Lyme, CT. This position involves multi-stop delivery routes.

Responsibilities:

• Drive a non-CDL box truck on multi-stop delivery routes
• Load, secure, transport, and unload products safely
• Operate a pallet jack to move product
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules
• Complete delivery paperwork, manifests, and other required documentation
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Provide professional customer service at delivery locations
• Follow all company, state, and federal safety requirements
• Maintain excellent attendance and reliability

Requirements:

• Previous delivery or box truck driving experience
• Pallet jack experience required
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CDL is preferred but not required
• Must be willing and able to complete required OSHA/Hazmat training
