CNC Laser Machine Operator

Employment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced CNC Laser Set Up Operator for a prestigious and established manufacturing facility in the Oakland Park area. Our client has been in business for over 50 years and provides services throughout the world, manufacturing a safety mechanism used in the transportation industry.

Schedule & Pay

• Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Pay: $25–$30/hour, depending on experience

The CNC Laser Set Up Operator will be responsible for the Set up, operate, and program CNC laser equipment to produce quality parts that meet drawing and specification requirements. 

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser machines.

• Adjust machine settings and cutting parameters to get the best results.

• Perform daily machine inspections and cleaning.

• Check the first cut part to make sure it matches the drawing and required specifications.

• Load and unload metal sheets using the loader system.

• Work with other departments as needed.

• Perform other job duties as required by the business.

• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience/training.

• At least 2 years of experience setting up and operating CNC laser machines.

• Ability to read and understand shop drawings.

• Experience operating a Combilift and/or forklift.

• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures.
