Weekend Merchandiser - Part Time

Job Title: Part-Time Weekend Delivery and General Labor Associate
Location: Based in Colfax, NC — covering the Burlington, NC area
Pay: $16 per hour + $0.26 per mile
Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, starting at 6:00 AM until route completion

Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Part-Time Weekend Delivery and General Labor Associate to join our team in Colfax, NC. This role provides coverage in the Burlington area. You will ensure accurate deliveries and maintain well-stocked, organized, and rotated products. Additional responsibilities include general labor tasks such as moving freight, assisting with inventory, and maintaining customer-facing displays. This is a weekend-only position with an early 6:00 AM start every Saturday and Sunday.

Important Requirement:
YOU WILL BE DRIVING YOUR OWN VEHICLE IN THIS ROLE. Reliable transportation and proof of insurance are required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivery & Stocking: Deliver products to customer locations and ensure they are properly stocked on shelves and displays. Break down back stock and organize by location.
• General Labor: Move freight and materials manually. Gather pallets, shells, flats, and remove damaged or expired products from customer sites.
• Customer Service: Communicate with the sales and delivery team to address needs, issues, or opportunities.
• Product Maintenance: Maintain clean, organized shelving and rotate products for freshness.
• Product Audits: Perform routine checks to remove expired or damaged products.
• Schedule & Adaptability: Follow daily route schedules and adjust as needed to support business demands.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license meeting acceptable standards
• Reliable personal vehicle with proof of insurance (minimum: $100K/$300K/$100K coverage)
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs using equipment
• Ability to work in physical environments including outdoor weather and frequent standing, walking, and bending
• Strong attention to detail with effective time-management skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
