Facilities/Maintenance Coordinator
Location: Plainfield, CT
Pay: $25+ (DOE)
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Thursday 6:30am-4:30pm
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Overtime: As required

Responsibilities
- Sweeps, vacuums, mops, and scrubs floors.
- Dust offices, lights, blinds, and cleans all surface areas.
- Cleans all restrooms and showers.
- Cleans all windows, both inside and outside.
- Collects and disposes of all trash and recycling
- Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture and racking, as needed, throughout the facility.
- Stain removal from carpets, window treatments and ceilings using chemical cleaning solutions.
- Painting, as needed.
- Sweeping sidewalks
- Raking and debris removal
- Snow and ice treatment and removal
- Draining, greasing and cleaning equipment
- Performs routine maintenance on building, both interior and exterior.
- Contacts, schedules, advises and directs vendors and contractors for necessary building repairs and emergencies outside the
- Scope of routine maintenance.
- Maintains a schedule / log of when maintenance has been performed and when any and all services are due.
- Works in a safe manner while taking appropriate action to properly maintain the Company’s facilities and equipment.
Requirements
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day.
- The employee must frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds.
