Packaging Operator (1st Shift)

Employment Solutions is seeking 2 experienced Packaging Operators for a manufacturing facility in the area of Miramar for a vitamin and supplement manufacturing plant that has been in business for 25 years.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Ensures that all batch documentation is completed accurately.
• Ensures that all instructions are recorded and stored properly.
• Keeps the area's GMP/Housekeeping and safety standards at a high level.
• Assists the Packaging Room Supervisor in verifying that all necessary processing components are present and released.
• Assures that all operations are carried out by GMPs and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Completes all documentation correctly and in a timely manner.
• Performs periodic inspections of packaged products to ensure that all specifications are met.
• Assists in assuring 100% accountability for components, product, and labeling materials; and
• Performs any other duties assigned by the Packaging Supervisor and/or Packaging Manager.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must possess good mathematical and counting skills.
Must be able to lift/move up to 70 lbs.
Must be able to stay on task until all work is completed.
Must have extensive material handling experience.
Must be able to stand for long periods.

2nd shift: 230pm to 11pm
