Warehouse Clerk – Day Shift

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Clerk to join a fast-paced warehouse team in Grand Rapids, MI on Day Shift. This position is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Note: The location of this warehouse is in Grand Rapids currently and moving to Lowell at the start of November. 

Pay & Schedule

  • $17.50 per hour

  • Monday - Friday

  • 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

  • Overtime may be available based on workload

Essential Functions

  • Operate a forklift or hand truck to move materials and equipment throughout the warehouse

  • Follow all quality standards, warehouse procedures, and safety policies

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Perform routine safety inspections and assist with warehouse upkeep
  • Must have steel toe or composite work boots

Shipping Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, pack, and ship various sized parts and products

  • Fill orders by locating the correct items and verifying quantities and part numbers

  • Determine proper shipment methods and package products accordingly

  • Count, weigh, measure, and inspect products for accuracy and quality

Receiving Responsibilities

  • Receive and unpack incoming merchandise and verify delivery accuracy

  • Load, unload, lift, and move materials throughout the warehouse

  • Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations

  • Maintain organization and cleanliness within receiving and production areas

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Dependable attendance and strong teamwork skills required

  • Prior forklift experience required 

  • Basic computer skills helpful

  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus
  • Must have steel toe or composite work boots

Working Conditions

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the shift

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently

  • Comfortable working on concrete floors and in a warehouse environment
