Shipping Crate Builder/Carpenter

Employment Solutions looking for a reliable Shipping Crate Builder/Carpenter to join our clients crate manufacturing team in Stratford! This position involves assembling custom wood crates and pallets used for industrial packaging. 

• Schedule: M-F 7am-3:30pm
• Pay: $20+/hr (DOE)
• location: Stratford, CT

Job Duties:

• Assemble wood crates, pallets, and packaging components
• Read work orders and follow measurements accurately
• Perform basic quality checks on finished products
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Follow shop safety procedures

Must Haves:

• Experience with woodworking, carpentry, construction, or pallet/crate assembly
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Comfortable using power tools and pneumatic nail guns
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced production environment
