Quality Technician

Employment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Quality Technician for a prestigious and established manufacturing facility in the Oakland Park area. Our client has been in business for over 50 years and provides services throughout the world, manufacturing a safety mechanism used in the transportation industry.

The Quality Technician will perform product inspections, testing, and dimensional measurements while ensuring products meet customer and internal quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform product inspections, testing, and dimensional measurements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Review products and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage non-conformances (NCRs) and support corrective actions (CARs).
• Assist with root-cause analysis and quality improvement initiatives.
• Apply SPC techniques and maintain quality metrics.
• Operate and maintain inspection and testing equipment.
• Prepare quality, inspection, and testing reports.
• Support Quality Assurance Engineers with product testing and analysis.

Qualifications

• Technical/trade school certificate or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of quality, inspection, testing, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with dimensional inspection and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of SPC, NCRs, corrective actions, and root-cause analysis.
• Strong computer, math, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• ASQ CQI/CQT certification and GD&T experience are a plus.

Schedule & Pay

• Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Pay: $25–$28/hour, depending on experience
