Class A CDL Driver – Building Materials

Location: Wilmington, NC Area
Pay: $20–$22 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–4:00 PM
Home Daily | No Weekend Work

We are looking for a dependable Class A CDL Driver to join our team at a growing building materials company in the Wilmington, NC area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional looking for steady Monday–Friday work, consistent hours, and home every night.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to deliver building materials to customers and job sites.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload doors, windows ans other building materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate equipment used to load and unload materials.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and contractors.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs.
• Keep the truck and equipment clean and in good working condition.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Previous commercial driving experience required.
• Building materials delivery experience is a plus.
• Forklift experience strongly preferred.
• Experience operating a Moffett truck-mounted forklift is highly desired.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle building materials.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and customer-service oriented.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily delivery schedule.
