Quality Technician

Location: Milford, CT
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $27+ per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Overtime: Available

Employment Solutions is hiring a Quality Technician / DQR for our clients manufacturing company in Milford, CT! This is a great opportunity for an experienced quality or inspection professional with aerospace manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, final, receiving, source, and First Article inspections.
• Use CMMs, vision systems, micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
• Prepare and review FAI/FAIR documentation in accordance with AS9102.
• Review material certifications, inspection records, and Certificates of Conformance.
• Identify nonconforming products and assist with corrective actions and root-cause analysis.
• Communicate with customers, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure products and documentation meet aerospace customer requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in aerospace quality, inspection, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Experience with precision measurement and inspection equipment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with FAI/FAIR and AS9102 preferred.
• Knowledge of AS9100 or aerospace quality standards preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
