Welder
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to operate and set up robotic welding equipment, automatic welding machines, and related equipment. This position will perform welding and cutting operations while inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 5am-3:30pm
Pay: $16/hr
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate robotic and automatic welding equipment.
- Operate Bancroft automatic weld-around equipment.
- Make authorized program and equipment adjustments.
- Visually inspect welds for quality and conformance to blueprints and welding procedures.
- Perform setup and in-process inspections.
- Use hand tools and hand welders for finishing operations.
- Identify equipment malfunctions and report issues as needed.
- Maintain production and inspection records.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company policies, OSHA requirements, and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or vocational training preferred.
- Welding or manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, operating instructions, and procedures.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness and ability to learn equipment, processes, and customer specifications.
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to consistently maintain a clean and safe work environment.
