Dock Builder

Woodworkers to operate a variety of woodworking machines to surface, cut, and shape lumber/plastic, and to fabricate parts for timber floats! This position does not require travel or any work on the water. This is a full time, day shift position that offers room for growth! We are looking for candidates with wood-working and hand tool experience!

$15-$17/hr (Based on Experience)

Monday-Friday

7:30am-4:30pm

Occasional Overtime on Saturdays!

Work Environment:
Supply Yard/Warehouse Setting
Mostly outdoors with overhead cover.
Occasionally work outdoors in open air and varying weather conditions

Must Pass Tape Measure and Math Test

Duties

• Operates machines to saw, smooth, and shape
• bore holes to cut slots, grooves and edges
• Sand lumber, wood-stock and parts
• Verify dimensions of parts for adherence to specifications
• Follow assembly instructions for modular components
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be able to read and interpret shop drawings, project schedules and documents such as safety rules and operating and maintenance instructions.
• Regularly lift 25lbs and must have the ability to lift from 50-100lbs occasionally using team lifting.
• Construction/Fabricating experience
  • Possess the ability to read a tape measure
