Employment Solutions is currently seeking a reliable and experienced
Warehouse Lead for a growing and innovative pet furniture distribution center in
Pembroke Park, FL. This company has been delivering top-tier products for over 5 years and is known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Summary:
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting daily distribution warehouse operations while providing direction to warehouse staff to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety. This role is hands-on and includes shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment within a fast-paced distribution environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assign daily tasks and guide warehouse staff to meet operational goals
• Monitor workflow to ensure productivity, accuracy, and timely order fulfillment
• Assist with training and development of warehouse employees
• Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items
• Store materials in designated warehouse locations
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders according to pick tickets
• Ensure proper labeling and shipping documentation
• Coordinate carrier pickups and maintain shipping supplies
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts
• Use warehouse systems to track inventory and shipments
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Assist with basic facility and equipment maintenance as needed
Requirements / Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of warehouse experience; leadership experience preferred
• Bilingual English and Spanish required
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math skills for inventory tracking
• Experience operating material-handling equipment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and perform frequent standing, bending, and reaching
Schedule:
Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20 per hour or more based on experience
