Microbiologist

Employment Solutions is seeking an experienced Nutraceutical Microbiologist for a manufacturing facility, with pharmaceutical or microbiology background to work in the area of Miramar for a vitamin and supplement manufacturing plant that has been in business for 25 years.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine microbiological tests and analyses on raw materials, in-process, and final products.
• Isolate, identify, and perform antimicrobial susceptibility testing on potential pathogens.
• Monitor and control environmental conditions to ensure optimal growth conditions for microorganisms.
• Develop and implement new testing methods and procedures to improve the detection of    microorganisms.
• Ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, and other relevant regulations and standards.
• Prepare detailed reports on findings and present them to management.
• Collaborate with other scientists to develop new drugs and vaccines.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in microbiology.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Pharmaceutical Microbiologist or in a similar role.
• Experience with microbiological testing methods and procedures.
• Knowledge of GLP and GMP regulations and standards.
• Experience with laboratory equipment and safety procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• BS or higher degree in Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. REQUIRED!!!

Hours: 9:30am - 6pm Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24 per hour
