Certified Forklift Operator – Building Materials

Location: Wilmington, NC – Highway 421 Area
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $17.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience

We are seeking an experienced and certified Forklift Operator for a building materials company located off Highway 421 in Wilmington. This is a full-time, daytime opportunity for someone who is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable handling large or heavy materials.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move building materials
• Load and unload delivery trucks
• Organize materials within the warehouse and yard
• Verify products and quantities for accuracy
• Assist with pulling and staging customer orders
• Inspect the forklift and report any maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
• Follow all company safety procedures

Requirements

• Current forklift certification required
• Previous forklift experience, preferably with building materials or bulky products
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Strong attention to safety and product handling
• Dependable transportation to the Highway 421 area
• Ability to work the full Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule
• Must be able to pass all required pre-employment screenings
