Lathe Operator/Spot Welder

Location: Wallingford, CT
Pay: $18+ per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
Position Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire

Employment Solutions is hiring a Lathe Operator / Spot Welder for our client’s  sensor production team in Wallingford, CT. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, precision manufacturing work.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathe machinery to shape and modify small components.
• Perform spot welding according to specifications.
• Assemble small fluid sensor components.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Read and follow work instructions and basic drawings.
• Meet daily production and quality goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, lathe, or spot welding experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with small, detailed components.
• Ability to understand basic measurements, including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
