Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Forklift / Shipping & Receiving candidate to join a busy manufacturing environment. This position involves operating a propane-powered forklift, moving and preparing materials for shipment, and completing outside deliveries and pickups.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move, lift, stack, and prepare materials for shipment
• Perform daily forklift safety and maintenance checks
• Move parts and materials throughout the facility
• Weigh and record manufactured parts
• Assist with shipping, receiving, deliveries, and pickups
• Direct vendor trucks on company property
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Remove and maintain damaged pallet stacks
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements
• Perform routine preventative maintenance as needed
• Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Valid, clean driver's license
• Current CDL is a plus
• Ability to pass a DOT physical
• 1–2 years of forklift operating experience preferred
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a hazard-free work environment
