Shipping & Receiving / Saw Operator

Employment Solutions is hiring for our client's manufacturing company in Enfield, CT!

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shipping & Receiving / Saw Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering a consistent first-shift schedule and the chance to build a long-term career. 

• Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm (OT when needed)
• Pay: $20.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and perform daily forklift safety inspections
• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments
• Cut various types of plastic materials to specifications using computerized saw equipment
• Operate saws, routers, and other production equipment as needed
• Load, unload, move, and store materials throughout the facility
• Assemble customer orders and prepare materials for shipment
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory reconciliation
• Read and interpret work orders, shipping orders, production schedules, and customer orders
• Prepare pallets and packages for shipping and mailing
• Utilize computer systems for data entry and inventory tracking
• Support fabrication, routing, and general warehouse operations as needed

Requirements

• Previous forklift experience is required
• Shipping and receiving experience preferred
• Experience operating manufacturing or warehouse equipment is a plus
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read work orders and follow instructions accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift
