Production Operator

Location: South Windsor, CT
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay: $22/hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Vaccine Requirement: COVID-19 vaccination PREFERRED

Job Summary
Employment Solutions is seeking a Production Operator for a growing aerospace company in South Windsor. This position involves operating vacuum chamber equipment to coat aerospace components, inspecting finished parts, completing production documentation, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum chamber equipment to coat parts with aluminum
• Prepare and inspect parts before and after the coating process
• Measure part thickness and dimensions to ensure specifications are met
• Complete accurate production documentation, routers, and internal records
• Assist with vacuum chamber cleaning and routine maintenance
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Work occasional overtime, including nights and weekends, as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to lift parts weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable, safety-focused, and willing to learn
