Employment Solutions is hiring a Warehouse Associate II!
We are looking for a dependable, computer-savvy Warehouse Associate to join our client's team in Arkadelphia. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse and forklift experience who is comfortable working with computers and learning new systems quickly.
Pay: $21.47/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Approximately 2 months
Location: Arkadelphia
JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate II will be responsible for warehouse inventory, shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting the shipping office. The ideal candidate is forklift certified, computer literate, safety-minded, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
You will spend time both operating a forklift and working in the shipping office, assisting truck drivers and entering shipment information into the computer system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Warehouse & Inventory
- Maintain warehouse inventory and maximize available storage space.
- Check the condition and weight of incoming materials.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and orderly.
- Ensure products are stored safely and correctly.
- Rotate inventory as needed.
- Follow proper pallet stacking and securing procedures.
Shipping & Receiving
- Safely load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Operate a forklift to move and stage materials.
- Prepare products for shipment, including mixing and organizing pallets.
- Maintain accurate forklift logs.
- Verify shipping information and paperwork.
- Assist truck drivers and maintain accurate records in the shipping system.
Computer & Office Duties
- Enter and maintain shipping information in computer systems.
- Receive shipping orders and ensure orders are properly prepared.
- Maintain accurate shipment records.
- Research and resolve inventory or paperwork discrepancies.
- Serve as backup support for the Shipping/Warehouse Supervisor when needed.
Safety
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure trucks are properly secured before loading.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, safety shoes, vests, and other designated protective equipment.
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Forklift certification required.
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new computer programs quickly.
- Ability to safely load trucks with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently.
