Package Sorter
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Package Sorters to support a fast-paced warehouse operation in the Clinton Township area. This role focuses on end-of-line sorting of outgoing shipments, ensuring orders are organized accurately and prepared for delivery.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who thrive in a physically active, team-oriented environment and are available to work flexible hours during peak seasons.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- Start time: 9:00 AM
- $17 an hour with potential for overtime
- End time varies based on workload (work until completion)
- Overtime possible, especially during peak season
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort packages at the end of a conveyor belt by shipping method (UPS, FedEx, USPS, company trucks)
- Organize packages onto pallets or carts based on carrier requirements
- Build and wrap pallets (up to 5–6 feet) using stretch wrap
- Use pallet jacks to assist with loading trailers (arrivals twice daily)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques
- Assist team members to ensure orders are processed efficiently and on time
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Must be reliable and able to work long hours as needed
- Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Team lift required for items over 50lbs
- Steel-toe boots required
- Must remain focused on tasks (no phone use allowed on warehouse floor)

- This role is focused on sorting only (no picking/packing responsibilities)
