Part-Time Weekend Beverage Merchandiser – Elizabeth City/Moyock Area

Available Territories: Elizabeth City and Moyock/Grandy
Pay: $17.50 per hour
Mileage Reimbursement: $0.76 per mile
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay Frequency: Weekly

Employment Solutions is hiring Part-Time Weekend Merchandisers for a large, established beer distributor serving the Elizabeth City, Moyock and Grandy areas.

Multiple territory assignments are available. Employees will be assigned accounts based on their location and business needs. This does not necessarily mean one employee will cover the entire Elizabeth City, Moyock and Grandy territory.

This is an active, hands-on position servicing large-format grocery and retail accounts. Depending on the assigned route, the Merchandiser may travel between multiple accounts or complete multiple visits to the same accounts throughout the day.

Employees will use their personal vehicles to travel between assigned locations but will not transport products in their vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Travel between assigned customer accounts throughout the day
• Complete multiple store visits when required
• Stock beverage products on shelves, displays and in coolers
• Rotate products and check dates to maintain freshness
• Move products from store stockrooms to the sales floor
• Build and maintain clean, attractive product displays
• Use carts and pallet jacks to move products within each store
• Monitor inventory and communicate product needs
• Keep assigned shelves, coolers and displays organized
• Maintain professional relationships with store personnel
• Follow all company, store and safety procedures

Pay and Position Highlights:

• $17.50 per hour
• Weekly pay
• $0.76 per mile reimbursement for business travel between assigned accounts
• Consistent Saturday and Sunday schedule
• Approximately 20 hours each weekend
• Multiple territory assignments available

Position Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable personal vehicle and current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to bend, reach, push, pull and remain active throughout the shift
• Comfortable using carts and pallet jacks
• Dependable and available to begin work at 6:00 AM every Saturday and Sunday
• Previous merchandising, stocking, grocery, retail, warehouse or beverage experience is helpful
