Rim Specialist

Employment Solutions is seeking a reliable, hands-on technician to join a team of skilled technicians in their rim department, supporting production by cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining key equipment and work areas. This is an on-site, contract-to-hire opportunity.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Transitioning to Monday–Thursday (4x10s) starting mid-August

Pay

• $18–$21 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities may include:

• Inspect and diagnose alloy and steel wheels for structural bends, cracks, air leaks, and cosmetic surface damage.
• Reporting any excessive wear on products
• Inspect and evaluate door guard rubber and side seals
• Use specialized hydraulic wheel repair machines to straighten bent rims and fix deep gouges or structural flaws
• Sand, fill, prime, paint and clear-coat wheels
• Inspect, operate, and thoroughly clean shot sieve grates
• Assist with other duties and departments as assigned

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working around industrial equipment
• 1 years in auto detailing, wheel refinishing, or retail tire shop operations
• Powder coating experience preferred (training available)
