Machine Operator

A local production company in the Leland Area is hiring Machine Operators! In this position, you would be responsible for sub-assemblies and final assemblies of products, operating equipment safely and efficiently, meeting quality standards, and meeting production targets!

4 DAY WORK WEEK!

Starting at $18/hr

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday
• Monday: 9:00am - 6pm, Tuesday thru Wednesday: 6:00am - 6:00pm, Thursday: 6:00am-3:00pm

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operate rivet and toggle locks machines to manufacture products
• Must be able to perform but not limited to the following tasks: riveting, packing, labeling
• Must ensure all machine safety, quality and operational procedures and specification are adhered to
• Heavy Lifting
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
• Operating a one-process machine
• Ability to use measuring devices, and hand tools
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems
• Making minor repairs and equipment adjustments as needed

Requirements

• 6+ months of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to stand throughout your Shift
• Available to work overtime on short notice
• Ability to communicate, both written and orally, regarding equipment issues, product/material shortages, and other production issues.
• Candidate must have the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• This is a hands-on position that requires ability to work as a team, be results oriented, attention to details and being able to multi-task in a demanding and fast paced environment.
