Mechanical Assembler

 

Employment Solutions is seeking a dependable Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll assemble heavy-duty equipment and mechanical components using blueprints and technical drawings. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment
 

  • First Shift: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or,

  • Second Shift: Monday-Thursday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM | Friday 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical components and truck body assemblies according to blueprints and work instructions
  • Install components and subassemblies using hand tools and power tools
  • Measure, cut, and fit materials using shop math and precision measuring tools
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues, make necessary adjustments, and perform minor repairs
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety procedures
  • Work on multiple projects while meeting production deadlines
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Read blueprints and assembly drawings

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 3 years of mechanical assembly or related field preferred
  • Ability to rig and work from scaffolding 
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work with hands throughout shift


Compensation: 

  • $18 to $21 based on experience
