Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable, safety-minded Dryline / Lumber Stackers to support day-to-day production by sorting, stacking, and preparing lumber for processing and shipment. This is a physical, fast-paced role that requires consistent attendance, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely around moving equipment and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stack lumber on the dryline according to size, grade, and production requirements
- Sort and inspect boards for obvious defects (warping, cracks, damage) and follow quality guidelines
- Lift, carry, and reposition lumber throughout the line and staging areas
- Keep the work area clean and organized (sweep debris, remove scrap, follow housekeeping standards)
- Work closely with line operators and supervisors to maintain production flow
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently and handle heavy/awkward materials
- Comfortable working in industrial environments (dust, noise, temperature changes)
- Strong reliability and punctuality; able to work scheduled shift and overtime as needed
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow verbal/written instructions
- Safety-first mindset
