Job Title: Full-Time Merchandiser
Location: Hardeeville, SC
Pay & Compensation
- Salary: $42,000 – $46,000 annually
- Mileage Reimbursement: $0.28 per mile
- Overtime opportunities available
Schedule
- Full-Time | 5 days per week (includes Saturdays & Sundays)
- Start Time: 6:00 AM
- End Time: Typically 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM (based on route completion)
- Two scheduled weekdays off
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Full-Time Merchandiser to join our team in Hardeeville, SC with a top beverage distributor supporting one of the most recognized soft drink brands in the Southeast. This role is responsible for traveling store-to-store on a set route to stock, organize, rotate, and maintain product displays to company standards.
This is a hands-on, active position ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, staying on the move, and taking pride in keeping shelves fully stocked and visually appealing.
This is not a delivery role — you will be traveling between stores and merchandising product already delivered to each location.
Important Requirement – Personal Vehicle
This position requires daily use of your own reliable vehicle for travel between assigned accounts.
Applicants must have:
- A dependable personal vehicle
- Active auto insurance (minimum: $100K / $300K / $100K)
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
Auto allowance and mileage reimbursement are provided to offset vehicle use.
Key Responsibilities
Merchandising & Stocking
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays in a clean, organized, and professional manner
- Rotate product to ensure freshness and proper presentation
- Build, maintain, and refresh displays according to company standards
- Break down and organize back stock in designated storage areas
General Labor
- Load, move, and organize product as needed within store locations
- Assist with collecting and organizing pallets, shells, and flats
- Remove damaged, expired, or unsellable product
Customer Service
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with store personnel
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Identify and communicate service needs or issues
Route & Schedule Adherence
- Follow assigned routes and daily schedules
- Work independently while maintaining productivity and quality
- Adapt to changing priorities throughout the day
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle with proof of insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
- Comfortable working on your feet throughout the day
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous merchandising, stocking, or retail experience preferred
Work Environment
- Moderate noise levels
- Frequent physical activity (lifting, walking, bending, standing)
- Regular travel between store locations
- Occasional outdoor exposure between stops
