Position: Process Inventory Specialist
Pay Rate: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
Shift: Rotating

  • 5:30am – 2:10pm
  • 2:00pm – 10:40pm

Position Overview

Employment Solutions is currently hiring a Process Inventory Specialist for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for executing daily, weekly, and monthly inventory transactions within the ERP system (SAP transitioning to Microsoft Dynamics 365) with a high level of accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have strong ERP experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a production-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform production order confirmations in ERP systems, including material allocation and consumption tracking using Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all inventory transactions to maintain batch traceability and data integrity
  • Execute inventory movement transactions between storage locations in the ERP system
  • Physically receive, move, stock, and organize materials in designated storage areas
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and recommend adjustments or transfers based on findings
  • Collaborate with production teams (supervisors, material handlers, and line workers) to ensure FIFO compliance
  • Partner with logistics, quality, and IT departments to ensure timely and accurate execution of inventory tasks
  • Develop Excel-based reports and tools to analyze material usage, consumption rates, and inventory trends
  • Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within inventory control processes
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Associate degree preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of inventory control experience
  • Prior ERP system experience required (SAP required; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of SAP T-Codes strongly preferred
  • Experience in ISO and GMP environments highly desired
  • Bilingual English & Spanish required (reading, writing, and speaking)
