Box Truck Driver (CDL Not Required) 

Position Title: Box Truck Driver (Medical Card Required)

Delivery within the customer areas, mostly local but may be anywhere in the Albany area.  The pay rate is $20/hr. we offer a $3000 sign on bonus paid at 30-60-90 days ($1000 each payment)

Summary:
Reliable and safety-focused Box Truck Driver with experience transporting and delivering products to customers and businesses while ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service. Skilled in vehicle inspections, route planning, loading and unloading freight, and maintaining compliance with transportation and safety regulations. Possesses a valid DOT Medical Card and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a box truck safely and efficiently to transport goods to designated locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Load, unload, secure, and verify cargo to prevent damage during transport.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and shipping documentation.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel.
• Assist with warehouse duties, inventory management, and material handling as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of assigned vehicle.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Experience operating box trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of transportation safety regulations and delivery procedures.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
• Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines.
• Experience using GPS navigation and electronic delivery systems.
