Employment Solutions is hiring Skilled Property Maintenance Technicians in the Hartford, CT area. This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity with a reputable organization and potential for long-term employment.

Location: Hartford, CT
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay: $20.00/hour
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Responsibilities

• Complete unit turnovers and respond to maintenance work orders
• Perform basic repairs and remodeling (drywall, flooring, patching, appliance installs)
• Clean and maintain apartments, hallways, stairwells, and common areas
• Perform grounds maintenance including mowing, snow removal, and landscaping tasks
• Handle minor repairs (light fixtures, outlets, thermostats, smoke detectors)
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants
• Assist skilled trades staff as needed
• Remove trash, debris, and graffiti from properties
• Maintain tools and equipment and report safety or repair issues

Qualifications

• Prior property, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, and general repairs
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
• Reliable attendance and transportation required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
